Approach
I am certified in Hakomi Mindful Somatic Psychology and a certified Integral Coach® with New Ventures West.
I draw from a wide range of other methodologies and practices to construct a program uniquely suited to you.
(You can see more under Toolbox.)
My approach is:
Integral
First, we take all aspects of you and your life into account. The challenges that show up at work are very likely expressions of the same patterns that show up at home. By making both of these domains fair game for our exploration and conversation, we have a lot more to work with.
Secondly, I use “integral” here to refer to exploring all domains of self. Borrowing from the New Ventures West model known as “The Six Streams”, we look at how you are addressing problems cognitively, emotionally, physically, relationally, spiritually (the big picture, purpose), and how all of these interrelate.
Developmental
A tool or framework can be helpful in a given moment, and we don’t want to shy away from that. But ultimately, shifting our mindset and even sense of self has a much bigger long-term impact.
By making these big shifts, we are able to approach problems in a fundamentally different way. Often, things that once seemed like problems no longer do. This work tends to take a little bit more time, but the impact is radically more significant.
